It's been almost a week. I don't think I've left my blog alone that long before. I wonder if it's been lonely?{g}
We've been terribly busy with One Voice and since then, with other church goings on. It's been difficult. And crazy. And tiring. And sad. I've got to the stage that I dread opening my inbox.
But we forge ahead. Jamie, the kids and I are leading a big happy fun event for the kids on Easter Sunday and we are in the midst of all those preparations now.
One Voice went very well. The music was fantastic. It just reminded me that Jamie used to be a record producer. The arrangements were fabulous! He really is good. I'm so glad he's using his talents so energetically for God. My solo happened. That's the best thing I can say about it. I don't think I'll be doing that again. Nerves got the better of me.{g} It wasn't a disaster, but it was not an experience I care to repeat.
There was a big church presence. There were also quite a few people who brought friends, some of whom were not believers. We feel it's important for people to watch believers worshipping. Anyway, lots of postitive feedback from friends, so hopefully, it went well. We keep being asked when the next one is. They obviously don't reaise that it took up ALL our 'spare' time for a month.{vbg}
I wish Jamie and I had a little time to ourselves/for ourselves at the moment. We sooo need some time for that. Later today we're going to down tools and drive to pick Jamie up from work and take him to McD's for dinner. A rare treat! We all need it.

Your One Voice sounds so wonderful. What a blessing your family is to so many.
So glad it went well, Dorothy. May God redeem all the time you put in!
