You are very sweet and I want to thank you all now in advance if you vote for me and here, by the way, is the link to do that! {Ha ha!} http://homeschoolblogawards.com/index.php/best-geographical-blog/ The Irish side of my genetic heritage would like to remind you to Vote Early, Vote Often, but I don't think that works with well-run elections.
Naturally, since this blog is up against Pioneer Woman's (Stop, don't go off and vote for her! What are you doing? Come back here!) there's no chance of me winning. She is the funniest writer in Blogittyville AND she takes great photographs. Of handsome cowboys. But just being nominated alongside her is an honour.
And a pain. Cos now I am going to have to check my spelling better and be more careful about what I say about my friends. In case they find me here. {g} And when I take photos now, I'll have to make sure my hair doesn't get in the way of the camera lens.
What a sweet Easter Present!

Yes Romany! I am a friend of Sheila's, so that is probably where you have seen me before! And I'll certainly be voting for you! (since no one nominated me. :-( Sniff, sniff!) Nice to 'meet' you!
Congratulations :). And no, I didn't nominate you (but I will be voting for you;) )
What fun to have such a blog award nominee icon thingie in your sidebar! Congrats! I hope you win!
Dorothy, I love reading your blog. Your post topics are interesting, varied, and introspective. I really enjoy your photos too.
I believe I read on the blog voting site that you can vote once a day--but definitely more than just one time all this week while the poll is open. Also, you can also see the percentage of votes each blog is getting. I posted to De'Etta that the voting info should be put on the loop, don't you think?
And congratulations!
You crack me up!
However, yes, I did remember to spell check tonight as well.
Congratulations. I agree that yours is a very nice geographical blog because when I read and see the pictures I feel almost as if I'm right there in the countryside of England or London central. You're representing your area well, not go invest in a good spell check so you don't have to worry. LOL That would be me who see's glaring spelling errors in my own blog after nearly every post. I have no idea why they don't notice so much before I click publish, sigh.
