During half term we met with some friends for a chat, a swim and some lunch. Us mums needed to chat about a situation which has developed in the Home Ed group we've been a part of for many years. We didn't find any solutions, but at least we were able to support eachother.
The kids sat in the cafe together for a while, before we all headed off to a Thai Restaurant.

I get so frustrated when Jack makes the silly faces when I'm trying to take a photo. {g}
I have a feeling that when he's 35 and showing these photos to his own kids, he'll ask me,
'Mum, could you not have taken one nice photo of me when I was a teenager?'
Mmmmm.....

I think this pic is one of his "less funny' faces.... kids will be kids. At least he smiles; James looks so serious in his pics
My BIL was 16 when hubby & I got married. The formal church photos - he made a silly face in every.single.one. Oh - except the one where my eyes were closed. ::sigh:: Should I mention it's been almost 16 years & I still get miffed about it? LOL Not really but at the time I was seriously miffed! LOL
LOL about the photos. We have a couple of kids who can't take a photo without some sort of funny face or hand gesture, too.
I have a photo of Jamin as a wee tyke....it's awful. He DOES ask me, "WHY did you let me look like that for the photographer" and I tell him...you insisted...I wanted a photo of your in your toddler years....and you INSISTED on no shoes, no cumb, and trying to remove your shirt. ::snort::
Yes, well, at least you've documented Jack's reluctance on the internet, and I'm sure it will still be here in 16 years!
LOL about Jack's funny faces.
