During which time, we had no water! But, he fixed everything eventually and now we have new kitchen taps that work! This seemingly simple job took 24 hours of work and 3 trips to the hardware store. {g} I offered to help, but my DIY methods didn't appeal to him. Oh, this brings back memories of Mike's deployment. ::snort:: Duct Tape - worked for me. LOL Sort of.
UGH... Our "weekend" bathroom project has now officially been going on for a "month."!! Do you KNOW how hard it is to give a toddler a bath in the shower? He doesn't do the shower well.. hmm... now that I say that I wonder if a 4 yo is even considered a toddler anymore?
Anyway... glad you have water again!
DeEtta,
I'm not sure even duct tape can fashion new taps (faucets) but we should have at least tried!
Cynthia,
How's the weather for a sprinkler shower in the garden?
I don't think that My Beloved Husband could fix ANYTHING with only three trips to the hardware store. It takes that many to just formulate a PLAN. For the past two months he's been going at least once or twice A DAY, sometimes just to check in with them & find out if he's missed anything new. He has about 5 that he rotates through so that hopefully they won't report him as a stalker.
What a familiar sight. I think anyone who owns a home as seem this at least once or twice.
