Money Matters

My favourite frugal home-making site in the whole wide world is Hillbilly Housewife. I love the emergency menus, the frugal tips, the recipes, the attitude of helpfulness and mentoring there.

Miss Maggie, who was the original owner and inspiration for the site and all the great, cheap recipes, has moved on now to a different site.
Frugal Abundance . This is still a work in progress, but looks useful.

Her other site,
Old Fashioned Education is especially useful to those who are trying to home-educate on a shoe-string.

At this point I am happy to mention two blogging friends for their diligence making frugal home-education a possibility for many readers. One is Alexandra at
Happy Hearts at Home and the other is Beth at Homeschooling for Free.

If you are in Britain, you might find Martin Lewis' site
Money Saving Expert useful. I know we have. This is a secular site. The best christian financial site I know of is Crown Financial Ministries, which lays out a Biblical framework of financial principles. I enjoy listening to the radio programmes through my computer.

Thanks for thinking of me. :) Coincidently, the other day I awarded you the big E award. Pop over to see.

I'll have to check out some of these sites. I didn't realize Miss Maggie started another site.
