New Pursuits

Jack is a bright boy, but not one who ever enjoyed sitting still and studying. Right from babyhood, he was the kind of child who preferred to climb, run and hang upside down. So, this academic year has been a tricky transition for him. He has started several exam courses, either studying alone or in groups with other home-educated teens.

He's studying Biology which has meant learning the art of note-taking and revision:

He's having to think, reason and argue logically:

He is having to make sure he has all the equipment he needs for his classes. In this case, he's carrying his Art supplies:

He has to have done all the work the tutors expect of him and get ready, in time, for the groups he goes to:
And of course, he's had to eat his vegetables:

All necessary prerequisites to 'Growing Up And Being British', as we used to say when I was a teenager. (I think it's a quote from Monty Python.) LOL!

He's had some sticky moments, but overall, he's rising to these challenges and we are proud of him!
