Jack is hanging out with friends before the service, up in the gallery.

Grace chats to Deborah, one of the other baptimal candidates. She is from Kenya and she had a truly astonishing testimony of deliverance from the grip of tribal conflict and witchcraft.

Me giving my public testimony, which was rather nerve-wracking.

Grace giving hers. Many people congratulated her. I think it's the longest I've ever heard her speak, outside the family home.

Jack's style was quite preachy, in a good way! LOL!

Colin, the policeman, was the first to go in the water. If the Pastor and Jamie could handle him (6' 5"), without drowning him, we knew we were safe! LOL!

My turn.

Out I get.

Grace comes out.

Jack's turn.

' No mate, that's where the women are changing, we're over there in the other room.'
It was a very good service and lunch. Lots of friends came, including many from our old church. Fantastic day.

How lovely and busy your church looks!
I'm going to give you time to recover and bask a bit, and then I have a very odd thing to ask you indeed .....

Glad it all went well and that the day was very special.
Baptisms always make me cry - even just the pictures! I'm so thrilled for all of you, and hope that all the worries and jitters worked themselves out.
Congrats! Glad it all went well.
Congratulations! So glad you all managed it without any problems, although after Colin you should have been easy :)
Alleluia, well done!

God is so good. These photos brought tears to my eyes. I'm glad the day went so well.
I think the header photo is new since I visited too...like it.
Congratulations Dorothy! I did think of you on Palm Sunday and wonder how it went. We were away so this is the first chance I've had to visit.
