I quite like climbing them, not just admiring them from afar. But on Sunday my dodgy hip was objecting to much more walking uphill, so I stayed lying under a tree, whilst Jamie and Grace tackled a couple more hills before we went to pick Jack up from his Scout camp.
Another hill conquered for Grace.
Derbyshire is clearly the outdoor sport capital of England.
We asked Grace if she fancied trying these sports.
But, apparently, she'd rather walk down. {g}
3 more friends resigned from church last week...

So glad Grace is doing better.
The church thing is the pits, isn't it?
I do feel for you.
Don't know if this will lighten your mood, but I swear it took me eleven (I counted) goes to type 'pits, isn't it' in the above sentence, and some of the out-takes weren't attractive!

(I think this is the mountain top post?) LOVE the shots!!
I love your explorations! What a great place to live!
Excellent pictures.
I wonder what can pull that troblesome church out of it's downward spiral.
Would a day out doing something like this parasailing (not sure if that is the sport pictured or what it's called). Mountain climbing? Something fun and active together where people can let their guard down and get to know each other as people more.
Sometimes you (me, anyone, not meaning you specifically, church people... )can get so caught up in the problem they can't see the other people at opposite ends of the problem as actual people but as part of the problem.
I know you and Jamie are so busy but would organising a church outing be workable?
Or would they just not come and prefer to stay miserable?
Sorry, I'm sure that's not much help. The pictures and then the church comment just got me thinking.
Again, I *LOVE* the photography... amazing views you have.
I think it's hang gliding you see in the picture... parasailing is over water.
