I thought I'd take some pictures of the shocking prices we pay for fruit here in this country the last time we went to Costco. Jack loves to be in my pictures. Look at him stealing the limelight yet again.

He's so handsome.

When all of a sudden, some friends of our popped into the frame! It was nice to bump into them! I'm sure they loved having their photograph taken whilst out shopping.

Especially Jon, who was buying wart cream. Don't worry, you can't see it in this bad picture!

I love to torment my friends with my camera.

Ah, but in Costco, you can get real Ziploc bags. I know this, because I have a friend, who used to have a card, and she used to get me Ziploc bags.
Then she stopped going, but her pastor's wife still goes, and occasionally gets stuff for her, so she asked *her* to get some Ziploc bags for her, for me, if you follow me.
I like my Ziplocs. (I don't get out much!)
LOL! What do you think *I* was there for!
Next time you race through our town, remember to knock on our door. I'll give you some ziplock bags.
The only problem is that I will have to take a photo of you with them. For the blog.{g}
Oh I love it! Wart Cream! Too funny! Remind me to be prepared if we ever meet, Dorothy! You know, dressed, hair done, all that. LOL ;-)
So what were the prices? I can't tell from the picture.
Cythia,
(Double?) Click on the photos and they should come up very large.
I know Lisa. I did feel a little bit guilty, but they are good friends and didn't mind! LOL!
Oh, so I should click on the pic to see the prices, didn't get that until seeing this!
I'm guessing your friends were thinking, Okay, whatever we need to do to keep mad Dorothy happy until we can leave!!!!
Sorry, second comment! It looks to me like your prices are somewhat similar, but perhaps I'm reading this wrong? I'm converting British pounds (GNP?) to American dollars, is that the right thing to compare?
pineapple $3.25 (good price here, $2.50 would be the best ever, $4-5 is more common)
bag of grapefruit (it looks like 3 per bag?) $3.25 (we pay $1 each here)
12 limes, $4 (seems good, I think we pay more than 3/$1 here)
2k lemons, $5 (seems high, especially since k is less than a lb.)
watermelon $5 (that seems high to me)
I've never seen that sapo- melon, and I don't know what that yellow lemon is.
I love to see food/grocery items and experiences in other countries, Dorothy, I like this post!
