Road Trip Through Middle England

The Journey Begins. Best accompanied by iPods.
Driving,
Who's that woman with all the chins? Oh don't worry, I'm not driving. We drive on the right side of the road here. That is, the left side. Tee Hee!
Driving,Driving through pretty villages,
Past Neolithic barrows,
Past fields of golden wheat,
and boys with more addded cheese, happy looking pigs, past distant woods,
up hill and down dale,
past flocks on the hillsides.
Wait! Is that an 18 inch replica of Stonehenge on the horizon? No, it's the real thing.
Oh oh, now we're lost.
Lost,
Loster... Lostest.
Lost and distracted.
Journey's End.Meeting old friends again.And she's off.
Nervous but happy.
Me, that is.
But Grace too.

Hey. Thanks for showing me the route to Stonehenge. I know you don't think it's worth our time to go visit it, but it is the way it is. Being at the top of several of our lists, we'll be headed on a tour that goes to Stonehenge, Bath, and Windsor.

Renee,

She's away at a 'camp' for Christian teens. It's a gorgeous private boarding school, so not exactly roughing it. {g}

I admire your stamina, Cynthia! We went somewhere about an hour from Stonehenge and we were in the car for 6 hours that day. That's enough for me! Mind you, that does include getting lost...

That's my kind of camp; I'm all for avoiding bugs and the hard ground

We got lost on our last road trip too, it wasn't as scenic as your lost area though.

Beautiful photos.
