Now that Jack is preparing for some British public examinations, our home-education is changing. Once a week he goes to a wonderful Montessori school in a rural setting for some instruction in Science. He's going to be taking the Double Science IGCSE award next November and this term he's studying Biology in a group 12 other, mostly HE'd, kids.
I love the atmoshere of this place. It has the best views in Oxfordshire, but it was a misty morning so I didn't attempt any photos of them.
This is the converted cowshed where Jack and the other kids played basketball after the Science lesson.
This new element of serious instruction, alongside other kids his own age is a welcome development for Jack. He's also been doing his homework diligently. So far!

Nice that he can continue his higher level studies with some other homeschooled kids.
Looks like a nice place to learn.
