You are correct Madame, if Nowhere had a middle, this would be its centre. Did you have a pleasant journey?
Up there is your bedroom, would you like to come in?
No need to knock young man. As this is owned by the National Trust, it belongs to you, really!
Yes, Miss. Come on in through the entryway and into the dining room.
I'm afraid that you have to walk through the dining room to get upstairs.
These are the stairs. They are oak beams, several hundred years old. They are quite steep and circular with no handrails, so do be careful on them, won't you?
Ah, here's your room. Delightful, isn't it? Yes, it's a little austere, but nothing bleak about our All-You-Can-Eat-Breakfasts Sir, so don't you worry!
Ah, you've noticed the ceiling. Do you see the Tudor Roses?
Each of those timbers was cut by hand, Sir, with adzes and chisels and er, other Elizabethan-type tools.
Do have your drinks on the terrace after dinner.
I'll just get rid of those urchins for you.
Can't be encouraging them, you know.
Enjoy your stay!

Yep. That's where I would want to stay.
That was really cool! :-) One of the things we did when we visited England (eons ago now) was go to Warwick Castle - that was really fun to go through but I would have loved to have spent the night there too!
Dorothy, I would definitely love going to the middle of nowhere in England! Lovely photographs! And you make everything sound like loads of fun!
