...so the church was empty when we got there. {g}
There's parsley, horseradish, matzo, roasted eggs, salt water and a candle on each table. Wine and grape juice to come.
Also a bucket and a jug of water for the Leader of each table to wash the feet of anyone who wanted it. A little boy wanted it! A suprising number of people around the church got their feet washed.
The drops of wine, one for each plague sent to the Egyptions.
Grace and Jack weren't impressed with the roasted eggs.

Very nice dinner!
We attended a Passover Seder a few years ago and really enjoyed it.
I'm so glad to see step by step instructions/photos. I'm hoping several will blog them in the next week as we prepare for our first Seder next month. LOL
Thanks for the photos.
::snicker:: You arrived on time and so the church was empty...
We got to church on time today (10 mins. before the service began). Seriously, one of the greeters exclaimed, "Kristine!" and LOOKED AT HER WATCH because we have never made it that early. Just a little embarrassing...
What a lovely church! We do the foot washing every year at Holy Thursday mass. My ten year old son still thinks it's weird. He hasn't yet grasped the signifigance.
