Grace is turning very nicely in that shot.
Jack after the capsize looking annoyed. This is where I spotted the grass snake swimming. Not quick enough with the camera though.
Grace in her spray-deck and life-vest getting ready to put the kayak away.

Oh, my, Dorothy, what a fun event! It is great that the kids get to learn from a pro, albeit, maybe a bit too laid back teacher.
Dorothy,
The water looks SO INVITING! I've only kayaked 2x, but I LOVED it both times and hope to do more of it in the future!
Hi Dorothy! This looks like lots of fun. Did the kids enjoy it? I like the gaggle of mommy's line. :) I have friends who love to kayak but I've never been. Scares me somehow and I love to swim. Did you get in as well???
Dorothy, I had to look up what a group of swans is called and it is a "Bevy".
Check out this website. It has all sorts of names for groups of birds and animals.

(Okay, so I'm a bit strange when it comes to enjoying totally usless little bits of information!)
Kathy, I used to do a lot of sea kayaking when I was younger and looked better in a swimsuit. I much prefer drinking cappacinos and laughing on the shore with my friends now. Which is probably *why* I don't look good in a swimsuit now.
Debbie, You are an amazing researcher. A bevy, eh? Thanks! I think I'll stun everyone at the lake next week with that one.{g}
What great photos! You'd think Jack would be annoyed if you'd captured a picture of him actually getting dunked. :)
I'm speechless over the water shots. In May. In England. It's still too cold here to take a bath. lol.
Incredible shot of the swans, absolutely stunning. I love the perspective from which it was shot.
hat looks like a wonderfully fun day! My older children have been asking and asking for a kayak. I suppose we can only keep them happy with inflatable boats for so long. LOL
Glad to see Betty got to enjoy the gaggle of mummies. LOLOLOLOL
